This game reminded me a lot of the Va Tech game. Stats were one sided and the game was close only because of our own mistakes. If we put a perfect game together it will be a show.

But the sore losing corndogs don't surprise me one bit.

I only hope they will admit their safety was bogus as Ingram was 4 feet from the ball .
I think Danielson made a comment trying to explain that GMac's pass first contacted an OL. I'm no rule expert, and don't know if the illegal touching trumps the fact that there was a receiver in the area?

Red,
I don't think they were talking about domination the whole game, but the fourth quarter. We did dominate you there. LSU played a good game and was definitely one of our toughest opponents.

Hope the rest of the year goes well for LSU and everyone is okay as far as the injuries go.

Roll Tide.

I ventured over to one of their boards...most are pretty sour right now, lol, blaming the loss on that one no-call.
If I'm not mistaken I think they had another chance to drive the ball and score and try for an onside kick. They couldn't & didn't.
The stats are pretty strong but I think the adjustments CNS & staff made at half-time is the difference. We played to win in the second half. I really have no gripes other than some grumblings about the execution.
If BAMA eliminates the penalties and executes just a few more plays offensiviely, this game isn't close. Color me happy.:)
How about having the ball on the one and breaking huddle with 12? That's four points right there...

Bama had a good game, but it was far from domination. Florida is is going to be a double handful for Bama and my money is on Florida, I'm afraid.
Why is that RED? They beat you by 10 and we beat u by 9? Did they MORE than double you in yards gained?
I love these guys that hang on our boards and try to act all nice and then are full of it when they lose. Go HOME dude. OK?

Perhaps, but they didn't call illegal touching, they called intentional grounding.

Unless there's a newer rule , it doesn't matter how it gets there . And a tipped/deflected ball becomes a free ball which nullifies grounding .

Huge win for your team today . Looks like you'll probably end up @ 7-5 . Maybe better depending on the SoCal & Cal games . Good luck and please pound the domers :)
As poorly as USC is playing right now, they might be looking ahead to us next week. ;)

We will enjoy introducing Notre Dame to Mr. Gerhart.

LSU fans are such poor sports. If you take that bet, you'll lose more than pride. LSU was physically dominated. Your sideline looked more like an infirmary than anything. If you look at the stats or scoreboard, any simpleton could see the victor. So please, don't try to pee on our parade, amigo. RTR

Or Julio in the first half 4 more.

Or Smelley wide open on the wildelephant flicker (could have been more pts.)

Or not throwing the pick. Should have gotten a chance at a field goal.

Add those 14 and its 38-15. The stats would indicate that score more than a 9 point win, but the only stat that counts are the scores.

This game was a great example of why Coach Saban and his ability to get players to see the vital importance of how EVERY play can be HUGE make him worth whatever Alabama pays him.

All I know is that I'm glad Bama won. I don't think the refs gave us the win, but they made it a lot easier. We were very fortunate to have so many calls go our way.

Which game were you watching ? If the calls or non-calls favored one team over the other , it certainly wasn't the Tide .

The prediction of PP becoming fatigue from covering Julio the whole game was true. He had the cramps that lingered the second half. And of course, it helped us out a lot when he wasn't on the field with Julio's TD.
