I'd like to remind you all that we normally don't have a Reichard quality placekicker. For years, in the Saban era, we went out and got the biggest headcases we could find and put them at placekicker.

Looking over my Facebook memories, I see me saying "WE'RE FREAKING ALABAMA. WHY CAN'T WE FIND A KICKER?" quite a lot.

Don't remember any of those kickers ever showing their butts on the field and getting visibly mad at the snapper. That's the one thing I can't get past about that game, that attitude from him....just make the kick dude, things aren't gonna go perfect every time.

Talty is a special level of awful.

He’s only making 64.7% of FG attempts.

CNS PK’s who were better omitting Will

Shelley
Bulovas
L Tiffin
Pappanastos

Those 4 made over 70% of FGs

Even Griffith was better at 69%

2 Shula Kickers were better

Bostick and Christensen

The only notable PK we’ve had that was actually worse was Foster.

Also worth mentioning we had Nicholson on the team 1 year too early.

He was 8 of 10 last year in limited action.

We were almost never quite in range for him to try last year.

He probably would have made a difference yesterday.

But Talty stinks. He has bad body language before kicks and he showed his rear end yesterday with absolutely no capital earned to pull a stunt like that.

Ha! Told my local group we were back to the Cade days, where every k ok was adventure.

Cade would have been perfect to have been on kickoffs and coverage. But not at field goals.

Not sure who we have behind Talty, they must not be very good.

Yeah, and the thing is the snap looked good, the hold looked good...so it most definitely qas the kickers fault that he missed!

I got a question...the guy that jumped over the line on that abortion of a field goal kick, didn't they make that move illegal a couple of years ago? I remember A. Robinson doing it a few years ago at lsu and after that they changed the rules....
