ROLL TIDE!

for those of you at the game with phone/pda's , why don't you take some pics of the days events and then upload them to your TideFans Albums!?!

I'll feature the best shots on the front page.

Hey Y'all! I'm here in Athens and getting ready to go walk downtown in my BAMA regalia - yes I'm a brave woman!

We'll be headed over to Atlanta in a few short hours. I couldn't sleep much last night. I can hardly wait to see our boys in action tonight!

Roll tide!!

This will be my first game in a long time without my traditional glass of wine or Southern Comfort. What are my odds of making it through without cheating on this STUPID diet?

We live in Athens so it's always good to have reinforcements roll through.

I took my 3 year old son to Chick-fil-a this morning. He rolls up on some Georgia fans eating breakfast, wearing his #14 JPW jersey, looks 'em dead in the eye and gives them a 'Roll Tide' from the underside of his toes.

That's a good boy, right there.

RTR, everybody!!

Re: ALABAMA vs CLEMSON

My emotions have been all over the place for this game. I had bad thoughts early on but of course as game time got closer, I feel a win coming. My stomach is already turning flips at 12:43. It's going to be a long day but I also haven't popped open the first of many beverages that will calm all those jitters. I am worried about the RB's but we always seem to let them do just enough (McFadden) but not beat us themselves. What a great day!! I have learned this year to just watch the game and not be so critical. I was not the biggest fan of Nick Saban (still not) but I am slowly coming around and it all begins tonight!!! ROLL TIDE!

Re: ALABAMA vs CLEMSON

I don't know what this has to do with the game, but I'm gonna try and make a link...Maybe SavannahDare can do some psychological interpretation :0

I had probably the strangest dream l've ever had last night. I was just being your friendly BamaNation when I was informed that I had been selected to the 2012 Olympic Boxing team traveling to Nairobi the next week. Instead of arguing or panicking, I packed my bags and went. I woke up before I entered the actual ring, though. Maybe I'll have good results to report tomorrow :D

Here's how I link it to today's outcome:

Everybody has been thinking that it's just going to be another year like the last 12 for Bama. No high expectations, unprepared, untrained, unwilling to do what it takes to win, inconsistent, etc.

HOWEVER, this team IS different and is ready to FINISH ... finish what they didn't finish last season, finish the season as a respected and feared opponent, finish being a bunch of excuse makers and whiners, finish being the whipping boy for the likes of Ms. State, finish off the likes of a wanna-be school like Clemson.

We're ready. We're ready here. We're ready now.

We're ready to FINISH a complete game on the winning side against a top-ranked team. We're ready to FINISH being underachievers.

Tiger meat: yum yum good!

Re: ALABAMA vs CLEMSON

One thing I'm not looking forward to is seeing how the celebration rules affect our game tonight. Bama seems like they've been the recipient of more of those penatlies over the years even back before it was en vogue to call a penalty on every hand clap. I really hope it doesnt affect the game in a big way. :mad2:

Re: ALABAMA vs CLEMSON

Herbie could not pick the game because he is working the game tonight and would be a conflict. Corso picked Clemson, which as far as I am concerned is very good for us.
