Blame Saban. We were one win away from 10-2 and a few plays away in the South Carolina game and UGA game from being 7-5 or 8-4.

For realNot sure who wrote the article but this depth chart is way off. Our second string “Y” tight end won’t be a walk-on former offensive lineman in Jaydon Hobson.
I mean, yes…ultimately it is his fault. He let team politics determine the QB, and thought he could go out with one last title. It didn’t work out for him or us.Blame Saban.
Personally, aside from the obvious mistakes the writer makes with certain names in certain spots, I like the roster a ton.I mean, yes…ultimately it is his fault. He let team politics determine the QB, and thought he could go out with one last title. It didn’t work out for him or us.
This is better:"The lack of departures is an encouraging sign for the Crimson Tide as Deboer enters his second year and allows us to project what the depth chart will look like ahead to fall camp." - article

Alabama Football's Way Too Early Depth Chart Entering The 2025 Season
The Crimson Tide didn't lose a scholarship player to the spring transfer portal, so let's look at the current roster ahead of the new year.www.si.com
We didn't have an A-Day game to get an idea of what the depth chart might look like this year. Once we get into Fall Practice, we'll have a better idea of positions. He had Russaw ahead of Latham. And that may be the case, as Russaw had worked hard and looks good. It's definitely a way too early depth chart. It does need some tweaking. Not sure who wrote the article but this depth chart is way off. Our second string “Y” tight end won’t be a walk-on former offensive lineman in Jaydon Hobson.
Next they have Wilkin Formby as backup LT. He didn’t play any LT during spring with all of the injuries. Olaus played there in Proctor’s place.
LG is between Dewberry and Vandermark. I wouldn’t put any stock into this article. Also no offense to the original poster it isn’t your fault this thing is so off.
Well, Russaw was the starter last season until he was injured, and was able to come back and play a good bit even though never really close to 100%, and Latham is changing positions into a role that he has very limited experience playing, so it kinda makes sense. We didn't have an A-Day game to get an idea of what the depth chart might look like this year. Where did this come from? I thought this was a depth chart conversation, and who's talking about buying outs? With a buyout starting at just over $70 mil. I don't think termination w/o cause is in the near future, regardless.
Thanks for the link TJ…and I really want to believe…but the skeptic in me is only hearing, “me, me ,me.” He selfishly took the $$$ that AtxM offered him, and milked it for three years…never becoming anything more than a back-up player. When reality set in, and he realized that he was coming to the end of the AtxM gravy train, he selfishly made the decision to abandon his teammates and transfer to Alabama because of the exposure he expects to get from being here during his last year. All of his decisions have been utterly selfish, and totally void of any semblance of team attitude.Really good to see this with Cam Dewberry. Built by Bama. If what we are hearing about Formby and now Dewberry we may be looking at a very good OL if we stay healthy.
Incredibly it is the world we live in for the most part. As long as he kicks butt and helps Bama win I'm cool with it.Thanks for the link TJ…and I really want to believe…but the skeptic in me is only hearing, “me, me ,me.” He selfishly took the $$$ that AtxM offered him, and milked it for three years…never becoming anything more than a back-up player. Coaches wanted him. He wanted to be here. He said his top priority is winning. He should get the benefit of the doubt from us as fans. Thanks for the link TJ…and I really want to believe…but the skeptic in me is only hearing, “me, me ,me.” He selfishly took the $$$ that AtxM offered him, and milked it for three years…never becoming anything more than a back-up player. True dat. Competition is the name of the game. He will push our guys which is what we need. Will find out a lot about them and him if he wins a starting spot. Good luck to all of them!Coaches wanted him. He wanted to be here. He said his top priority is winning. He should get the benefit of the doubt from us as fans.
I'm not sure how much of a chance he stands at DB or WR.One of the most interesting things to watch, at least for me, is what happens with Mbakwe. Will he rise to the top of the depth chart as a WR or will he need to move back to defense to get more playing time. He appeared in 12 games last year on D. He seems to have confidence but does he have thephysical tools and talent to muscle someone out of a starting spot on offense?
