I know some supplements like creatine can make you gain weight like that if you aren't exercising enough. I wonder if that is what we are seeing in that picture...him still enjoying his morning shakes...but not putting in the conditioning to keep those calories and such from turning into body fat.

The material does look the same to me. I thought I read somewhere that the material the unis are made from was going to be permanent, but I may be mistaken. It looks more stretchy or something. I am looking at last year's SI with Hightower, Barron, and Dareus on the cover, and those are two different uniforms.Speaking of uniforms does anyone know if we went to the Pro Combat jerseys as our full time uniforms? I'm not talking about the design we had for State but the uniform and fabric itself. I noticed it while I was looking at the pictures from media day. They look exactly the same to me.

Damiere Byrd (freshman) said it was due to lighting, he's not fat. Though I can't believe people have nothing better to talk about. I mean I'm sure you guys thought the same thing after the Andre and Cody incidents. Also the new UA uniforms are (according to the players) very tight as to help reduce grabbing.
The Bama secondary might just have something to say about that come the SECCG. Diabetes might as well.
To reduce grabbing ha I've heard it all. The first step is admitting your wide receiver has an eating problem.

Two different pictures have the same lighting that cause him to look like he's gained 15 pounds? If that's the case, the other players look 15 pounds over weight too, which isn't a very good thing for USC.

Look, he might shed the wight in camp and be ready for Game 1, but that's not a lighting issue - lighting doesn't give your gut an otherwise non-existent shadow or create moobs on just one person.

That does look like 2 completely different Players..And I agree his numbers will fall if he doesn't get back into last years form..
He's faster now after spring and summer workouts than he's ever been. You can take that fwiw as he and the coaches have been the ones saying that.
The body types of linemen and recievers are usually different, but maybe that's just me.
