My guess Zona is they wanted to give him little more time to adjust to the college game. Where Hawley and Wolfe came from is a powerhouse here in Georgia, but it is in one of the lower classifications (well middle anyway we have public ball which goes from A to AAAAA. They came from a AAA school. The lower you go in classification the smaller the school hence the overall weaker competition state wide). While Wolfe came in and basically pitched right away, I think he was slightly ahead of Hawley as far as a polished pitcher. None the less I think both of those guys will contribute a lot to the program over the next few years.
