Speaking of a million dollars... Here's my take on last night's race:
1. I hate Rob and Amer.
2. Ron and Kelly are still arguing too much. I didn't notice it so much last night but in the previews they showed for next week, Kelly was telling Ron that he couldn't make a commitment. Huh???
3. I have liked the older couple but last night was the straw that broke the camel's back with me - or should I say elephant's back? Good grief!!! Why didn't Gretchen get off the elephant and help push instead of screaming at Meredith and others to push.
4. Poor little gay guys - they were eliminated but took it well.
5. My couple to win is Joyce and never can remember his name. I don't remember ever hearing them fuss and fight. And kudos to Joyce for having the courage to have her head shaved. I wouldn't do it for a million dollars. And kudos to her husband for telling her she was still beautiful, even when bald. She was!!! I hope they win!!!!
* And I'm still waiting for Rob and Amber to fall off a cliff.

Rob and Ambuh got lucky last night that the 2 gay guys got elimiated. Of all the couples left, them and the African-American couple were their best competition. Even though many of us here detest Gretchen, gotta give them props for making it the farthest for an old couple. However, next week I believe they are toast with Ron and Kelly next (argue too much and not a "team") with Rob and Ambuh and the African American couple fighting it out for the win. Several weeks back a poster here said it "leaked" that the African American couple had won and now that the gay guys are out I can believe it- they are Rob and Ambuh's stiffest competition from here on out
The preview for next week showed Kelly telling Ron he has a pattern of quitting things. He responds with "Yeah, I didn't make a commitment to the military" or something to that effect. Kelly responds with perhaps the single most ignorant statement I've ever heard uttered by saying "yeah and you quit the war too." "How?" asks Ron. "By being a POW" says Kelly. :eek2:

I heard that too Savannah, and thought the same thing. Later I decided I'd heard wrong for surely no one would say such a thing to a former POW. I hate her now as well. I hope after the race that Ron dumps her and finds someone worthy of him.SavannahDare said:

It will really be game on next week. The worst thing that could happen was to give Rab and Ambuh a wake up call. I think they will lie, cheat, steal and bully their way into at least second place. At this point, I think Uchenna and Joyce will win with Rab and Ambuh taking second place. That's still not bad.
With Ron and Kelly being devested of all thier possessions will the others help them or say "sorry but I have a million dollars to win, good luck"?

That was a comical show last night (thank goodness I taped it in a different room than American Idol)!
Gretchen drives me crazy (sort of like Scott on AI). And I agree Nan, the look on Rob's face when he realized they weren't in first place was priceless!
