Have it registered to you just how much our coaches have accomplished. We have gone through scholly reductions, coaching changes, injuries, and lord knows what else.

The Atl Journal (which hates BAMA) had a nice article about what we have done to recover from all the disasters over the past several years. They predict we will have the 3rd best SEC recruiting year (behind GA and the orange people).

This is a result of the current coaches committment, plus the fans who never gave up. We had 60,000+ at a minor bowl game. What other school in the USA would do that after the past several years.

As Patton would say, "God, I'm proud of these troups".

Keep the faith- It will only be a great ride from here.

You are right. Now we should all double our current efforts. If you went to games and only sat down for 2 qtrs last year then stand the whole game this year. If you yelled loud last year yell even louder this year. If you went to all the home games then go to some away games too. And of course I'll see everyone on March 19th.

bamacharlie you are right. CMS and team have weathered the storm well. The first season was injuries, scholarship devestation, new personnel from players to coaches, new offense-defense installed and anything else that could happen. The second was Injury devestation and scholarship depletions and we still were competing, had one of the best defenses and still went to a bowl game. This next year should improve with only sholarship depletions (depth) biting us in the rump. The 07 season will be when we are back to dominance. If we get back before then great but CMS is building a FIRM foundation. Look at out recruiting rankings so far.

With all the bad luck and obstacles the staff and players have had to battle against these past two years, it would have been easy to just give in and go through the motions. They didn't, they just worked harder and we should all be very proud of them for the way they represented BAMA football.

And for all you barner lurkers, THAT is why tradition matters and THAT is why BAMA is BAMA and you're barners.
