Great News tidelaw

Andre could be another great Alabama lineman. In the mold of John Hannah(voted the greatest NFL lineman of all time), Dwight Stepheson(voted the greatest NFL center of all time) Chris Samuels etc.. He along with some of the other lineman we have received commitments from who also could become great offensive linemen can only bode well for whoever is our QB, running back and receivers. Come on Andre pull the trigger and help us recruit.
I also believe that Brian Motley is going to be a our diamond in the rough. From what I understand he had a great senior year and I believe when he gets to Bama he is really going to come into his own. David Ross is going to be an exceptional center. Taylor Pharr is going to get stronger and be a big tall long armed incerdible lineman and Alex Beal is so young and has so much up side I can't wait to have him here. It only gets brighter from here because some of the other young lineman we already have are going to work themselves into great lineman. Roll On. :biggrin2:

With or without Andre (hopefully with), it sure looks like the OL is set for the next four years. Man, that's a nice feeling. :smile:

the bottom line is that if he knows he's going to UA then he would be helping the the continued effort of recruiting for this year if he just went ahead and announced...on the other hand if he really isn't sure then he should wait and announce when he is.

I truly believe that with Andre on the line, JPW will look like a Heisman winner....he will have time to throw the ball and we all have seen him throw and know that his passes are on the money, Brodie just didn't have the protection that Andre and the rest of the gang can provide...

Did anyone catch the conversation regarding Andre Smith on Finebaum today? He had a guest on who managed an Auburn website (I believe he said autigers.com). Anyway, this guy said that Auburn was no longer recruiting Andre. Basically, he said they did not like their chances so the decided it would be better to spend time on other recruits (i.e. they gave up). He then went on to say that he thought that Andre was heading to Alabama.

I sure hope he is right.

If you didn't here is the archived interview for you to listen to. He says that Auburn is no longer recruiting Andre. They are after Whitehead and Hawthorne tough.
