My understanding is that Brodie didn't learn that weights are his friends.I've always liked Brodie Croyle. He is a very talented QB with a rocket arm. Unfortunately, he was born with a body that breaks easily and he broke something just about every time he got hit. When he had the opportunity at KC to start, he soon get injured and be out for weeks.
As a Ravens fan I would love to have Brodie as my number 2. Right now they have Tyrod Taylor and Hunter Cantwell, with the way the Steelers blitz I want a QB with some experience behind Flacco. Not to mention you have to love the arm strength paired with the new receiving core. I think it is a match made in Heaven, but they probably wont sign him. Not much has made sense this off-season, why start now.Chris Mortensen tweeted last night that the Ravens have some interest in Croyle.
Seems a good fit to me - he's similar to Flacco in that they both have huge arms - you don't have to do a 180 with your offense as you might have to with a Pennington or Leinart type.
I would be afraid the Steelers would reduce Croyle to a pile of dust if they caught him in a blitz. As a Ravens fan I would love to have Brodie as my number 2. You are right about that!anybody wanting to give up and draft Andrew Luck next year would be foolish to pass up Brodie, considering his consistent record.![]()
