Not many teams interested at this point and with a stable of quarterbacks on each roster I would be surprised if he's signed in pre-season. However, he should keep the arm loose. An injury during the season and he could get a call.

I think saying his career is over may be a stretch unless, of course, he decides to step away from it. He's got a rocket arm. He'll definitely get a call, even if it's just to be a scout team QB

I've always liked Brodie Croyle. He is a very talented QB with a rocket arm. Unfortunately, he was born with a body that breaks easily and he broke something just about every time he got hit. When he had the opportunity at KC to start, he soon get injured and be out for weeks.

My understanding is that Brodie didn't learn that weights are his friends.

Two things working against Brodie at this point. #1 is minimum salary requirements for a veteran player, #2 injury issues. Both will make it hard for him to catch on with a team. However, as injuries accumulate in the preseason and season it wouldn't surprise me if someone signed him, at least for a few weeks. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of chatter concerning Brodie among league executives.

Chris Mortensen tweeted last night that the Ravens have some interest in Croyle.

Seems a good fit to me - he's similar to Flacco in that they both have huge arms - you don't have to do a 180 with your offense as you might have to with a Pennington or Leinart type.

He was cut by the Chiefs, the cut was so bad it will keep him out the rest of the season. ;)

best of luck to him, but seriously at least he's tougher than Brandon Cox.

As a Ravens fan I would love to have Brodie as my number 2. Right now they have Tyrod Taylor and Hunter Cantwell, with the way the Steelers blitz I want a QB with some experience behind Flacco. Not to mention you have to love the arm strength paired with the new receiving core. I think it is a match made in Heaven, but they probably wont sign him. Not much has made sense this off-season, why start now.

I would be afraid the Steelers would reduce Croyle to a pile of dust if they caught him in a blitz.

That is true, but I would rather have him for a few drives, than worry about Hunter Cantwell never playing a pro game then having to see the Steelers defense.
