Good info, we will see how you do in your predictions. If we get all the ones you have in bold would that give us a top 10 class?

Thanks that was one of my many typos. I corrected his hometown to Pinson.

TiderinVA this is a "real early guess" list to get some recruiting discussion going in the slow part of the Spring. The serious Bama prospects will be known after the May evaluations and the summer camps. I will post my "early guess" sometime in late August. I was hoping somebody else might have some early lists to discuss.

Good list except I'd replace Harris Johnson with James Davis of Atlanta.

"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

There are more important things in life than Alabama football, but I can count them on one hand.

Ryan Perrilloux should be the QB target.

From Rivals Nike camp notes:

He displayed incredible arm strength, along with the uncanny ability to put touch on the ball and get it in the right spots. Combined with athletic receivers, Perrilloux torched the defensive backs at the camps with throw after throw. He was especially deadly on the out routes and on the stop and go passes deep into the end zone.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the kid from clay isnt all he is built up to be. Terrell Smith as a frosh was kicked out of a local highschool for "indecent exposure".. He transferred to the local rival after spending a semester at an alternative school. He is a major discipline problem and just is not a good character. Doesnt run anywhere near a 4.4 and is afraid to get hit.. I hope the Tide does there homework on this kid.

Ryan Perrilloux may just be the nation’s top quarterback this year.

I would have included Perrilloux if I thought Bama had a real chance at getting him. He doesn't even mention Bama in his top 11 favorites on Emfingers 2004 National Junior Rankings.

5 Ryan Perrilloux^ 6-3, 210, 4.5, Reserve East St John, LA (LSU, USC, MIA, MICH, OHST, UCLA, USC, TENN, FSU, TEX, FLA)(Offers: All favorites)

Max Emfinger's 2004 NATIONAL JUNIOR RANKINGS

Perrilloux is not even mentioned at all as a QB prospect on Bama Mag.

Bama Mag QB prospects]

According to Bama On Line Alabama is still in the running. Even though right now he has 65 offers and it is only May. So I am not holding out much hope of him signing with Bama. Obviously I hope I am wrong on this prediction.

Bama has been talking to some players from Hillcrest. I saw Crimson Surfer mention Brandon Rice, they have also been talking to (K) Hunter Adams, (QB) Johnathon Lowry, (DL) Reginal Peoples, (CB/WR) AJ Patton, and TCHS's David McCants.

Patriot_81 keep us posted on the local recruiting news around Hillcrest again this year.

Didn't you say last year that you thought that Brandon Rice was a better RB than Markus Manson? If so why is it that you think that? I have wondered about that since I read it last year.

I said Chris Green was a better RB because he didn't get "hurt" as much as Markus. Brandon Rice is a FB with a lot of speed and good hands out of the backfield. Rice, Green, AJ Patton, Johnathon Lowry, Seth Warren (S/LB), and Michael Brown (LB/FB) are attending the Nike Football camp this weekend.

Patriot_81 thanks for your reply. I read that even though Brandon Rice currently plays FB he is being recruited as a running back in college.

I remembered you saying that you thought a RB at Hillcrest last year was better than Manson. When I read this year that Rice was being recruited by Bama I assumed he was the RB you had wrote about. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Well I just found out who Xavion is after searching for a while and at 6'5" he seems to be of the same mold as Brown and Hall maybe a little bigger. Its good to see these big receivers have us on the radar.
