Most here agree that ESPN's "30 for 30" series was one of the best ever documentary series' in history of the sport.
One of my favs was the "'85 Bears". Highly recommended.
Vince Vaughn was Executive Producer and also narrated.

Soul to Soul, a vibrant and historically significant 1971 concert film — featuring performances by Ike & Tina Turner, Santana, Wilson Pickett, the Staples Singers, Les McCann & Eddie Harris, and the Voices of East Harlem — will be available again on February 20, 2025, ahead of the concert’s 55th anniversary on March 6, 2025. Released by Liberation Hall in partnership with Reelin’ In The Years Productions, Soul to Soul will appear for the first time on Blu-ray. Additionally, Soul to Soul: Music from the Original Soundtrack will arrive at retail on vinyl LP, CD & digital on the same date. The film will also be released on DVD.

I watched this video last night before going to bed. Then had a dream I met up with 2 old surfing buddies after paddling in from a very short surf session. In the dream, we talked more about changes in our neighborhood properties than anything else. Just "every day" stuff.
I guess that's how it evolves when you age.

If you ever thumbed through a copy of "Surfer Magazine" from the 70's or 80's - you have seen photographs from Jeff Divine.
I have slowed way down myself. Much of it due to aching joints and orthopedics in general not working as they did - or should. Many of my counterparts have gone the SUP and/or long board route - something I am reluctant to do. Was thinking more along the lines of boogie boarding or rafting. I also have other interests now I didn't when I was younger, including motorcycles, so those are filling the void, I guess.
I guess that's how it evolves when you age.

I just finished the Peacock 4 part documentary, The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets, which was the story about serial killer Rex Heuermann. Very current as the legal case just wrapped up.

I started a podcast on this I think... But I don't think I finished. Chilling that we have people who are so messed up they will commit such crimes.
Interesting that his name in German is pronounced approximately "Hoyer-man," and means just that -"Horror-man"...
we've watched the first two episodes of this and it is fascinating. not only is the story well done, the scenery and footage is spectacular. it's about dean potter, a pioneeering climber/base jumper (he was also a little bit cray cray) who died in a wingsuit/base jumping accident in 2015
