I'm not just keep track of the score and using box score. Sounds like a tit for tat game, lots of yards.

Who was that guy that wanted Paul Johnson for our coach so bad?

Mel Kiper was mentioning that today actually and commenting on how so many formations have fallen to the wayside and could be why we are seeing so much parity these days with limited offenses.

Anyhow looks like it is going to OT.

It's good to see Navy win. I was a Paul Johnson fan, but I think dabaxter was his most ardent supporter. I think we're both happy with who we got; I know I am.

I would have been perfectly happy if we had of hired Paul Johnson. The guy does a lot with a little and he would have had some serious talent at BAMA. Nonetheless, I'm ecstatic that we got Coach Saban.

Anybody see the Navy - Pitt game last night?

I'm still scratching my head at that last call by Wanstadt. That's the most bonehead call I've ever seen by a college coach. Any coach for that matter.
He was a moron at Chicago. He was a moron at Miami. Now he's raised the level of stupid in Pittsburg. How do these incompetent white guys like DW and Norv Turner keep failing upward. I used to think the Peter Principal didn't apply to sports. I used to think success and tenure were based on merit. Boy was I wrong.

Johson was 2nd on my 2nd tier behind Tedford at Cal.
I agree, and bet aTm will have these two on their list if all goes well :)

It'll be interesting to see CPJ at a BCS conference school one day soon. He's going to be offered sooner or later, and his past record against Jim Tressel is certainly a good selling point. Maybe he'll be more vocal about his philosophy of running the offense to suit his players, because a lot of fans are afraid he'd bring the triple option to their school. Although it would still probably be a good offense(at higher level) if executed well. There are a bunch of dual threat quarterbacks every year that are turned into db's and wr's.

I hope they beat Notre Dame this year.

It is only moving upward when leaving the pro game if they are going to Bama.
Just Kidding. I know what you mean completely.
