Anyone else debating renewing their season tickets?

So we're still in the immediate post-loss anguish, but I find myself in serious doubt whether I will shell out another $1000 next season.

You are joking right? Let see if you can apply this annology We've just lost a war to Vietnam are you going to renounce your American citizenship? We just lost to the Union are you going to renounce your Southern birthright? We just got hit by the aliens on "Independance Day" are you going to renounce your humanity?" I'll not give up on this university or it students, the team deserves your support no mater how dire the consequnces, now if it is a mater of feeding your family then I understand, if not the praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Anybody here know what an "enabler" is? An enabler is someone who, with the best intentions, helps, defends, and/or covers up when and addict messes up. For example, a wife calling a drunk's boss to tell hime he's sick when he's to hungover to work. I love Alabama football more than anyone can imagine. Unfortunately, I think I'm and enabler with the present UA athletics administration. Sounds like I have a lot of company.

While I know that, in the end, I'll still re-up and renew, the logic part of my brain still has to ask the question -- financially, does this make sense?

Would you buy a boat if you knew it was going to sink?
Would you buy tickets to a movie if you knew it was going to stink?
Would you buy tickets to the fair if you knew that the rides didn't work properly?

Wouldn't make sense financially. However, sometimes you have to throw logic out the window.

Heh...

Since when do logic and fanaticism ever go hand in hand?

Some of you guys keep talking about this waiting list. I applied three yeears ago and got in with no problem. Two seats Bama level. A fraternity brother of mine joined at that same time. Same deal. Another brother came in this year and got two seats at century level. The seats are there infact, I remember that Century had a bunc of open seats during assignment. You guys must be talking about Ivory or Scholarship level, right?
