I'm going to change your title a bit...

At any rate, I'll just say that you shouldn't expect anything on either. We might get them in for an official visit, but I really don't see them giving us serious consideration. I'll be completely and totally shocked we sign either one of those two.

Luc will stay in Florida, likely with the Gators, and Hicks will end up at Ohio State.

FWIW, there are a lot of rumblings from Vol fans that UT has jumped UF for Luc and might even be a silent to UT.

Wouldn't be the first time they were wrong, but they've also been right on several.

I have heard that, and I really don't know what to make of it. It may very well be credible, and it wouldn't overly shock me, I suppose, but there have just been so many Tennessee rumors out there that it is very hard to feel certain about them.

I'm really hoping that he ends up at Miami. I've been hoping for either Miami or Florida State, but with FSU's troubles I highly doubt that one happens. Either way, he's too good of a player for me to want to see him at either Tennessee or Florida.

Tennessee currently leads for Luc and Gators have the edge for Hicks at the moment.

We have a MUCH better chance with Christian Jones at this point. But I think we take Mosley and Hubbard and call it a day in the end.

Luc may wind up at FSU but it's hard to say with all thats going on with the coaches there. Charlie Strong has developed a very good relationship with Luc. Luc calls him "uncle".
Hicks will probably stay home and sign with OSU. Texas is another big player for him. I do believe we are in is top three. I shouldn't have said I like our chances with both but rather I like our position in that we have a chance with these guys. Anything can happen if you can get them on campus.

If you look at his rivals page, it says, as a high school senior, he squats 700 pounds! I know all this information is not always accurate, but lookin at his film I wouldn't doubt it. He lays the wood hard, and tackles with great form

Yep, but scouts who have seen him live for the first time this year say he's stiff and slow in pursuit; thus the drop in the rankings.

I agree with BamaBowtie Bama will sign Mosley and hopefully Hubbard. I have said before if I had to choose between Luc and Hicks I would take Hicks but it does not look like Bama will get either one at this point.

I agree with both parts of your post. Hicks has the chance to be a "special" pass rushing LB.

Guaranteed his 700lb squat isn't legit. I'm not saying he's not strong as an ox, but that would be close to being a powerlifting record for his age. Big difference between a 700lb squat and a 700lb 1/2 squat.

:BigA:I've had the chance to watch Mosley play this year and believe me this kid is something special. We will be very happy if he signs with us. Looking forward to watching him and some of the other guys that have signed with the Tide in the Alabama/ Mississippi allstar game in December. Can't say we would not take both of them if they wanted to commit. What a wonderful problem to have.

I just hope Mosley isn't afraid of the competition and falls for the "early playing time" offered by Auburn. Even if he goes there those upper-classmen aren't going to lay down and let him take their spot. He's gonna have to compete no matter what. Might as well come to Bama. Just sayin.....

Unfortunately it looks like Hicks will end up at either UF, Ohio State, or Texas. He named those three schools as his finalists. He will not be taking an official visit to Bama and he now lists them as low interest in his profile.
