Back in 1998 I cooked a ham for the Arkanslaw game and we got beat 42-6. I have never baked a ham for the game since. I am hoping this is a safe menu:

Pancake & Bacon Breakfast

Red Beans & Rice with Ham and Pork Sausage
Cornbread with cracklin’s, onion, and jalapeno
Chow-Chow

Hot pork rinds
Cheese & Crackers
Texas Trash Mix

Corona & Lime
Vodka and Cherry Jello shots

We're in the same boat BamaLuver. We don't have anything in the freezer, but at least we have power. Will have to try and come up with something to grill this weekend.

Pig Day

I've decided I'll be "chillin" this weekend, but not grillin'. :D

Think I'll let Dreamland do the cooking for us!

If these dang yankees don't hurry up and deliver my new fridge we may be having PB&J.

We're firing up the grill early for some pork sausage to start the morning off. With the grill warm, we'll throw on the pork ribs and start them slow cookin' so they'll be ready by lunch.

Other items on the menu:
Baby Blue Salad (lettuce with strawberries, oranges and homeade balsamic vinegerette)
Spinach-Artichoke dip
Cheese dip
BBQ Chicken on the grill
Hamburgers
Key Lime pie for dessert.

I think my bevvie of choice this weekend will be the High Life Light.

Here is someone who knows a good salad. strawberries and balsamic are a natural match for flavor.

Pizza

For crust:

2 bags pork rinds, crushed
2 diced and seeded jalapeno's
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
6 eggs, beaten

Mix all the ingredients well. Press into a nonstick sprayed pizza pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8-10 minutes.

Cover crust with 1-11/2 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce. Add veggies and toppings of choice [sausage, meats or poultry should be already cooked] followed by 2-3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.

Return to oven until cheese is melted and bubbly.

There's one I would have never thought of :D

Me too

Bama Luver I'm in the same boat as you too. My freezer's empty, but I just finished laying a brick BBQ pit before IVAN, so I'm anxious to fire it up. I'm thinking ribs, lots of beer and sides.

I'll post pics soon of the pit!!
