Yes we were. We will never field Alabama talent, or LSU or UGA talent for that matter, but that doesn't mean we can't attract good players. Like they said about Bryant, he can take yours and beat his and then take his and beat yours. At Arkansas we have to overachieve and we've done that for years.

Remember how they said we came out flat after a tough LSU game? Well, I think the same thing happen to LSU. But I'm not taking anything away from Arky. They played well and deserved to win, and I was pulling for 'em. Good job, Hogs.

Playing Alabama one week and then going on the road to play more smash mouth ball in Fayetteville is a lot to ask a mediocre LSU team to do. I thought Arkansas had an excellent shot at a win and they made me look like a genius. lol

I think they were so despondent over the loss to us last week that they couldn't pull themselves up for another game. The game was likely over before it ever started.
Either that or Les has told them he's had another job offer and is moving on..

They were exhausted from our game. Everyone who knows the sec saw this coming. Arkansas probably had one of the best DE (Flowers) and Linebackers in the country. They are a solid solid group especially when their offense can help them out with the TOP battle. I've been impressed with CBB and think they, like every other team in the Sec west, will be a tough out for years to come.

Neither of these teams are great, but they are both pretty good at times. We were very fortunate to beat them, and that just shows how tough the SEC West has been all year. In the Big 10-11-12, both of these teams would be 8, 9, or even 10 win teams. People who think we don't need a few Western Carolina or Florida Atlantic games just don't get it.
