I have to disagree. Simple is the Army way when it comes to uniforms, but the dusting of snow on the shoulders of the jerseys as a subtle nod to the conditions faced at Bastogne is 'chef's kiss'-level design. The Army unis were a little plain.
Agreed and that F-18 squadron ( The Jolly Rogers) was on my aircraft carrier back in the day.Under Armor did a nice job on those unis.View attachment 47329
The US Army in Europe in December 1944 had two airborne divisions: the 82nd Airborne and the 101st Airborne (the 17th Airborne was in Britain getting ready). The 82nd was the elder and thus the "senior" airborne division. The 101st is no longer an airborne unit, but is heliborne, and today is called the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
I thought including that somewhere would be cool, name plates are a great idea!i think army should put "NUTS!" on the back of their jerseys
