I believe that's true. I know it was someone from our staff that either played with or coached his dad, something to that effect. My gut still says Wingo winds up at Mizzou, he wants to play RB and he'll likely have way more of a chance at that there. I would love to steal him though because he's a phenomenal athlete.I've heard that there's a Bobby Williams connection to RW. Can anyone confirm/refute that?
Coach Williams and Ronnie Wingo Sr. graduated from the same high school in St. Louis, Missouri. While Coach Williams was an assistant at Pudue he recruited Ronnie Wingo Sr. to Purdue.I've heard that there's a Bobby Williams connection to RW. Can anyone confirm/refute that?
This could bode well for us. Though I still think it is a VERY tough pull, he has seemed impressed and very interested in us thus far.:BigA:Coach Williams and Ronnie Wingo Sr. graduated from the same high school in St. Louis, Missouri. I get the feeling he will wind up at Missouri also. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at Oklahoma either. My gut still says Wingo winds up at Mizzou, he wants to play RB and he'll likely have way more of a chance at that there.
Oklahoma wouldn't surprise me but he has a better chance at early PT at Mizzou.I get the feeling he will wind up at Missouri also. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at Oklahoma either.
I have read on another recruiting forum that Oklahoma has told Wingo they do not have room or a spot left for him. I don't know if that is true or not. I think he either ends up at Missouri or if not them then hopefully it will be Bama.I get the feeling he will wind up at Missouri also. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at Oklahoma either.
