An interesting development in the desert as this 4 star athlete lists Alabama among his favorites. His father says we have been recruiting him very early on and they just have not really discussed it.
"They were on him early," Hall said of Alabama. "That's one of the things that we really haven't discussed with anyone and I don't think their change in prominence in the SEC is making that big of a difference, but they were on him early."
He has offers from every Pac-10 school and looks real good on his film. It seems the Tide's prowess knows no bounds.

Re: Arizona Athlete Adam Hall Update

At 6'4", 195 he's built like a QB or WR, but slow (4.75 in the 40 at the Phoenix Scout combine).

Is it possible his dad is overstating Bama's interest in an attempt to pressure another school into a commitable offer? It appears he's most interested in USCwest and they may be slow playing him.

Re: Arizona Athlete Adam Hall Update

I have read on some westcoast sites that he is a lock for USCWest if they will take him, and Arizona as the fallback plan.

First, welcome to the board...

Second, I believe you are right...I don't think Hall is in our plans.

Re: Arizona Athlete Adam Hall Update

The bottom line is Alabama has not offered him. I doubt very seriously at this point that Bama has much interest in him or that they will offer him.

Bama Mag: Adam Hall Profile

Edit: With Adam Hall now holding an Alabama offer it shows how truely unpredictable following recruiting can be. I really thought that he would not get an offer with all the top ATH/WRs already having offers and the numbers so tight. Obviously I was wrong.

Re: Arizona Athlete Adam Hall Update

Alabama Has now offered Adam Hall. He got the call on Wednesday night.

Interesting turn of events.

He is being recruited as a WR, so it is OBVIOUS the staff wants better talent at the WR position with all of the current offers out.

Hall, Norwood, Bumphis, Patterson, Kelly, Randle.....wow

Scout lists him running a 4.75. I know speed isn't everything but that is slow considering the speed of the other guys we are recruiting and the DB's he would be going against.
What are the coaches thoughts here?

Rivals has him listed at 4.56 in the forty. Also on ESPN it says he has a 38 inch vertical jump.

It seems as though, with the talent we will potentially bring in at WR, we will be spreading the field a good bit, in the coming years. We may have a potent passing game in the coming years.

Adams is described as one of the nations top athletes and he says that he now has twenty offers. I highly doubt that both Alabama and Southern Cal would offer an ATH/WR that runs a 4.75 forty. I have watched his Rivals.com video and he looks like he runs a 4.56 forty or better.

ATH/WR Adam Hall Update: Bama has offered him a scholarship

The Whole Package
"I'm also close to setting up a trip with (No. 2) Alabama," Hall said. "I talked with coach Nick Saban earlier this week and he really wants me to come out there. We're trying to figure out a date."

The Tide are the lone SEC program on Hall's list. "I like how well they are doing this year," he said. "I'm not really surprised though. They had a great recruiting class and the coaches have done a good job."

So does Hall see the Tide running the table and playing for the national championship? "It's a long season," he said. "You never know what can happen in college football."

Saban apparently thinks he warrants a scholly, and thats good enough for me... BUT He runs a 4.56 forty not a 4.7 and has 38 inch vertical, squats 350 and benches 245, and all that is in a good 6'4'' frame.

That guy definitely doesn't run a 4.7 forty, I can promise you that. He's a terrific all-around athlete and would be a very welcomed pickup, that said I don't see him winding up at Bama.

Re: ATH/WR Adam Hall Update: Bama is not among his favorites

ATH/WR Adam Hall is showing low interest in Bama in his profile and he no longer lists Bama among his favorites. I am removing him from the Prospect List.

Big Hitter
Hall says that his visit to the Bay Area was so impressive that USC is no longer the leader. "I'm really happy after the Cal visit," he said. "It definitely moved them up because I learned more about them. It's gonna be a tough decision."

He now denies a leader, but said he continues to favor No. 5 USC, California, Arizona and Oregon.

Of course this was Hall's first trip, so anything can still happen. His next visit is to in-state favorite Arizona on Dec. 6. He says the Wildcats are recruiting him the hardest and want him as both a receiver and safety.

There's no way we would be able to make room for him anyway..

The most recent news from the Hawaii Prep Football Classic all-star game in Honolulu, Hawaii is that ATH Adam Hall is planning to officially visit Alabama. I still believe he is a long shot but I have added Hall back into the prospects with an offer list. In the interveiw video below he says he is in contact with CNS and CCC and it sounds like he is very interested in Alabama.
