I had a lady come into my office this week to discuss business and we ended up somehow talking about her son, who had just graduated from Auburn. This lady has now put three kids through AU and is a fairly big fan of the school as a result.
However, she was complaining about her youngest son's class ring. It is a "past/future" ring; one side has the school seal and something else one it. The "future" side has an Eagle and, as she put it, "a tree limb with what looked like a banner on it." She asked her son what the banner was.
"It's not a banner, Mom, it's toilet paper from Toomer's Corner."
She told me her response was, "We just paid $500 for a ring with toilet paper engraved in it?"
Here's the link to the Balfour site describing the ring: http://ww2.balfour.com/ORP/default.aspx?sec=rings&id=AL9
