I normally don't care for white cars, but I like this.On my way home from my bike ride - I stopped to chat with the owner of the landscape company who just completed this job on this newly remodeled home just around the corner from me.
One of the Royal Palms was browning out badly. You can see it in the first pic up on the hill.
Anywho....the property owner's Aston Martin was parked out front....what a beauty! Especially in white!

That one in the middle ('70 145S) was my first car after graduating college in '77.just opened up a new store in our hometown Gothenburg, Sweden and they needed a couple of extra hands. So we brought some of our most iconic heritage cars to help them move in.
I also had a 1972 Vega -- great fun except for the aluminum block engine that would overheat in a heartbreak. I sold it after 2 years before any trouble popped up.I unexpectedly lost my best friend a few months ago. This is a tribute post (with videos) that I put on Facebook about his project car that was completed just before he died.

Quite a few months ago, I shared that I had unexpectedly lost my best friend Cliff Jefferson. He had come down from Birmingham and visited us here in Fairhope a week and a half before he died…and...www.facebook.com
Pushing 225K miles on my wifes 2003 SUV (we've had for 16 years) and 250K on my 2012 (had for 10 yrs). Both are Lexus RX series. Wouldn't mind replacing hers this year just for the safety upgrades but her commute is like 1.8 miles and she's put <5K on it since March 2020, so no way it would be a new buy. Mine could go either way. Still looks almost new and I love the way it still drives but it has some age quirks and lacks some of the newer tech that I would like. We'll see what happens next year after 1st kid decides what school she's attendingMakes sense to me......

Sedans are even older, on average — 13.6 years. Blame it mainly on the pandemic, which triggered a...apnews.com

In the last 5 years we have traded in 2 SUV's -- Tahoe and Suburban -- both with almost 200,000 miles. Those were great vehicles and cost us little to drive other than gas and regular maintenance.Pushing 225K miles on my wifes 2003 SUV (we've had for 16 years) and 250K on my 2012 (had for 10 yrs).
