Probably about right. Purdue moves up to #6.

weird take, though, from ESPN on Mark Sears (emphasis is mine):

Stat to know: Mark Sears is on a tear. In the Tide's 87-78 loss to Purdue on Saturday, he had 15 points and 6 assists, with 5-of-15 shooting from the field, 1-of-6 from the 3-point line. He has now scored 15-plus points in each of his last 9 games against AP-ranked opponents.

This is the standard fluctuation for early season basketball rankings, especially given Alabama's early OOC schedule. Hopefully Oats can help the team learn from its loss(es) that it will turn into a team to be reckoned with in February and March.

Sadly, it sounds like AI writing to me. All my posts are by AI now to save time.
Google's version of AI is so frequently off the wall, I just scroll past rapidly to get to real knowledge. Example - I have an e-bike. Well, Li-ion batteries don't like to be cold and they don't like to be constantly completely charged. For long-term storage, about 60% at 60F would be ideal. For my size battery, that's about 50 volts or so. When I went to Google, AI served up storing at 48 volts, which very low. 47 is pretty close to rock bottom and 54 is full charge. I just ignore it...
