Anyway, not replying to you specifically, but I made a post earlier about the issues Saban has with keeping coordinators (and the issues with breaking in new coordinators) because he tends to hire a bit too well.
Well, of the 7 teams in front of Alabama right now, 3 are coached by Saban hires. Ironically, it happens to be the team that are the biggest obstacles to Alabama. Texas and Georgia of course, but Saban hired Dan Lanning at Alabama as well.
Agreed. But for me, there's also something else. We very possibly might have had a three-peat in 2013 if not for the fluke Kick Six play by Auburn. We were undefeated until then.

We missed our 3 peat window because of that kick. Well, ultimately because we got in the red zone multiple times and didn't score, but the kick finished it off.
Georgia may get theirs, but they aren't as good this year and they are about to play us and if they pass that test they'll still be pushed....unless it's FSU or Washington they play.
