17 Lswho
I believe BAMA will be plenty prepared and ready for this game. Never mind the rankings and being #1, I think Bama coaches and players will take notice that UT lost yesterday will be focused on the challenge at hand this weekend.
While I expect Lswho to be fired up for obvious reasons, this matchup does not look quite as daunting as it did earlier in the year. I'm not sure they've faced a defense as good as Bama's all year, other than UF or maybe USCe.
Mount Cody being back defensively will help Bama tremendously in stopping CScott/Lswho in the run game which is really their offensive strength.
Special teams is a bit of a concern, as Holliday is exceptional in returns, and Bama has had some issues there all year. I also wouldn't put it past Miles to put in some trickeration in some areas offensively.
For Bama, I expect JPW to have a really solid game. He (and the whole team really), is playing extremely well in road games this year. While Bama's greatest strength offensively is running the ball, I expect to see McElwain mix in some nice pass plays to attack Lswho's secondary and take advantage of some weaknesses there, but overall to stick to what has worked...ball control and steady doses of run the ball, control the line of scrimmage.
By no means am I saying this will be an easy win or a guaranteed win, certainly anything can happen, but IMO, this is a bit of an uncertain Lswho team right now that has been unsteady in big games with some real issues defensively. Bama on the other hand, has played exceptionally well in big games and have improved as a team each and every week, with very solid performances.
It wouldn't surprise me if the score is closer than what I've picked, as emotion is such a big part of the game, but I've tried to look at what each team has done against their respective competition and just feel that Bama has a distinct edge right now. RTR. :BigA:
