I guess he wants to play football. I was hoping he would stick around for baseball. I don't blame him. Surprised it didn't happen sooner really. He looked better than the rest in back to back spring games yet sat 3rd string at best

Hate to see Lonergan leaving, but he will land on his feet at a good program and have success. I always thought he looked more natural at QB than Simpson who looks quite mechanical. Not sure about Mack, but I would not be surprised to see him overtake Simpson. Good luck, Dylan.

Hopefully we get an announcement from Ty soon that he's stayin. I think he will, but I'd like to hear it from him.

Personally, I think it is dumb to announce "I am officially staying at the school I am currently at" unless you are an NFL draft prospect. I get that some fans want to know what your intentions are but many times it comes off as "look at me". I guess since they are professionals now just make a graphic saying you have re-signed your NIL deal and move on. Weird times indeed.

Dline is much harder to transition from HS to college than folks think, we got spoiled with that run of Robinson and Payne etc...

Overton is a good example of, sometimes you just need a new spot. Borderline first, second round guy right now.

We've swung and missed on our DL and OL for quite some time now, especially DL. Either that or we've done a horrible job at developing.

Ty made an announcement last season is why I said that. I think his dad told the media both times fairly early in the portal periods.

He has already said that he is staying and plans to be QB1 next year

Sometimes coaching where you played can create a sense of comfort and familiarity that can lead to complacency and stunt your development and growth. I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other but I wouldn't shed a tear if we moved on from Roach.
