Bama Game Thread: Bama PostGame Thread - Bama vs. OU...

The more I watch the pick six the more angry I get. I mean steamrolled Horton and caused the pick.

Still no excuse for Ryan Williams returning kicks.
I haven’t watched it since, but watching live I felt Horton should have fought through it more, might have made the contact more obvious and drew a flag, but with these refs it probably wouldn’t have mattered. But I though Ty’s pass was off target regardless.

OU did get away with a lot of “outside the rules” contact though.

At least they called it on the second pick. Two guys had hands full of Jersey.

Can not beat OU in Norman,. Can not beat them in Tuscalossa. My I suggest if Bama has to keep playing OU, do it on a neutral site, like Miami? Oh and, 0-3 against Texas/OU since they join the SEC, that has to stop.

I am still pleased with the progress that is being shown, despite the flaws that are still apparent. Let's just make the playoffs, perhaps make a deep playoff run and start to build momentum for 2026.

Wow, a reasonable approach.

We have had a good run this year. This is not a championship team by Bama standards but still a good team. If were were not affiliated with the SEC, the conference we built up, then we would be feasting just like the domers. Need to get to that.

8-2 at this stage I would have taken in a heartbeat. The concern now is the SEC folded to add another conference game...its suicide...ACC/B1G/B12 are awful after one or two teams...so the deck is further stacked against the SEC. Probably should have cost Greg Sankey his job....it needs to be rescinded

Don’t worry. If it costs the SEC playoff spots, it will be.

Mateer had the worst performance of an opposing QB winning in BDS since Jarrett Lee in 2011

Manziel, Kelly, Burrow, and Ewers had career defining performances in BDS and barely won those games

Just a bizarre game
According to Cole Cubelic in the lead up to the start of the season, Mateer was the end all be all at QB. Of course, he said that he’d watched Bama practice in the lead up to the 2023 season and we had the best oline he’d ever seen. Point being, he needs to be a weatherman.

Bama really needs to target Oline in the offseason, and just DUMP money on some good ones.
We cant afford to loose Keelon Russell.
This. Dump as much NIL $ as it takes to bring in some animals for the OL and then hire someone who can actually coach them. Bad OL play was going to cost us a game at some point, and today was the day.
