I find this VERY hard to believe. This game is too deep in the season to go ahead and set the time. I gurantee that ESPN/CBS are most likely going to use their right to wait a week prior to the game before making a decision.

No it is not too early...

All home games in October are 7:00 starts in Lexington. Keeneland the local race track has their schedule from 12:00-5:00. UK has never had a game during those races. So what most do is go to the races and then head over to tailgate for a couple of hours and watch the games. I actually love October in Lexington because of that. All the good looking women at the race track and all that gambling. Top it off with a Bama game.

Just because a gametime is set today, doesn't mean it won't

change depending upon what both schools have done up to that point. Since CBS has the "FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL" the game time could easily be changed to an afternoon game for TV purposes and I don't care what anybody says about the horse track issues. If CBS says it will be played at 2:00 (3:00 Eastern), then the game is played at 2:00. Also, if it's picked up by ESPN who has the 2nd right of refusal, then it could be a 6:00 or 6:30 kickoff on the Duece or a 7:00 (8:00 eastern) kickoff on ESPN. Now, if both pass, it could be picked up then by Jefferson Pilot and that would make it a 12:30 eastern kickoff time.

At this point...ANYTHING is possible.

Here is UK's schedule per thier official site. I must side with
BamaFanNKy on this one. I live in WV, 1 hour and a half from Lexington. I go to Keeneland at least twice each October. As long as I can remember, all UK home games in October have been post 7:00 p.m. starts. The blue bloods want their basketball first, "sport of kings" second, UK football third.

I had not checked the other games that day and >>>

the fact that CBS has already picked their game for that day and that LSU/Florida is the same day, I will admit that the likelihood is that we'll end up on PPV or the duece if it's available.

They still have a pick of two games.
1-Alabama at Kentucky or
2-Ole Miss at South Carolina

I believe it depends on which teams are better by Sept 25th.
