I would have to actually say that I welcome the rematch. Something tells me our team, especially the Seniors, will have some heart and finish this season strong. I think getting up for the barn will be realtively easy for the team and then a bowl rematch to a team that has beaten us, would make that game easy to get up for too. I personally am tired of our seniors losing the last game of the year. So I can only imagine how our team feels for them. Roll Tide! 3-0 for the rest of the year! :BigA:

It sounds tasty to me, to get another shot at them.

I refer back to last weekend though, and my unwillingness to say that this team has grown, improved, or matured since that FSU game. We got up for UT and LSU, 1-1 record, and sleep-walked through games vs. Houston, Ole Miss, and Miss State.

No sir, I don't think it will happen. First, the bowl committee might have their doubts about the attractiveness of the game, second, have we improved enough to beat them this time?

I have some pretty good sources here in the Memphis area that the Liberty Bowl is working extremely hard to convince the SEC commish to let Alabama play in the Liberty Bowl. They have some activities planned that commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 1982 Liberty Bowl between Alabama and Illinois. Word has it that PB Jr will be on hand. Since I live here, nothing could be better than having my Alabama team play in the Liberty Bowl this year. I know some of you probably have your own preferences but, hey, an old man can dream can't he?

I'd like to see us play some one other than FSU again. And I'd guess that the folks at the Music City Bowl don't want to host a rematch. Especially, since they won't be able to beat the "Bobby Bowden finally coaches against Alabama" angle...that one's already been killed by the media this year.

I'm hoping for the Peach Bowl. I'd have a much better shot at getting tickets and getting the wife to agree to let me out of the house for a few hours (new baby). Plus, it means that we beat ULM and Auburn!

Id rather play someone different than FSU.virginia would be an interesting game. The Liberty Bowl would be nice with the history and all but playing a C USA team doesnt excite me.Talk about having everything to lose.

Funny this was mentioned, was talking to an FSU buddy of mine at work the other day about the possibility of these two playing again. I guess I wouldn't mind it. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if FSU wasn't in the MCB. I am still holding out the glimmer of hope that Alabama can go 8-4 and make the Outback Bowl, but if not I would love for them to come to Nashville.
