11:30. My reasoning for that is the UT game next week will be on ESPN Saturday evening. The LSU game won't be that early, and the GA State game is now on Thursday.

Guess it depends on what the rest of the SEC is doing that day. I know Auburn is playing UGA, so that would probably be a CBS or ESPN game. Just please don't let us get the ESPN 2 8:00 slot again. That's too dang late.

Why do you think the Tenn vs Ole Miss game would be a better "prime-time" Saturday night game than "Alabama vs Miss State game?" I know it wouldn't be the CBS 3:30 game, but don't know why it wouldn't be attractive for a 7pm game. 12:30 seems to be a less productive time in terms of advertising revenue (granted I have no idea what I'm talking about this...just guessing :)).

The Tennessee vs. Ole Miss game seems a better fit for the early game, but doesn't each SEC team have to play at least one early game or is that not correct?

Also remember that Bama is wearing those Nike Pro-Combat uniforms so ESPN may want to air that game.

There is a 11:00 CT game on CBS that day. I would not bet against MSU-UA being that game. SC at UF is a lock bet for 2:30 CT on CBS.

Hey I was just going to throw this thread back in there and see what people are thinking as far as in a kickoff time now. I'm going to the game but my wife may not be able to go depending on the kickoff time.:BigA:

I was under the impression each team had to have a "SEC Network" game each season...and we haven't had one yet and will not unless the MSU game is on then. If there is no rule that says the above...then I guess we could be the early CBS game.

AU/UGA will be a night game on ESPN...so we know we won't be that primetime game.

There will be no 11:20 game due to the CBS doubleheader.

Why not? Last year Tennessee played at Ole Miss on Nov 14 at Noon ET on CBS and Vanderbilt played Kentucky at 12:21 ET on the SEC Network. I don't believe CBS has exclusivity for the early game of the double header.
Forgot about that... didn't realize the exclusivity window didn't apply in this instance.

Still, I can't see CBS passing up a meeting with two ranked teams if they have the option. Granted, they also have SC/Florida and UGA/Auburn to pick from that weekend.

Since they have 2 slots to fill, I can see them pulling the 6 day option BS ... how I despise the 6 day option ...

If we both keep winning, I see no reason it wouldn't be the 2:30 game.

# 16 or 17 ranked MSU @ # 3 or 4 ranked Alabama. Why wouldn't that be a 2:30 game?

Georgia @ AU has some potential, but UGA better keep on winning.
