Yea ! Well, let me say we had a lot of mistakes ! WAY TOO MANY ! But I told my dad in the 2nd qtr the way he carries the football he was close to getting it stripped. I know if I see it everybody else sees it ! Do we not teach how to wrap up the ball when the player gets in a crowd ? Really I don't make 5 million dollars a year but I know that. ! The season is not over By a long shot ! But if we don't get the clutter out we will lose 2-3 more games. But deep down at the end of today I HOPE THE PLAYERS AND COACHS WILL LOOK BACK AT THIS GAME AND SEE JUST HOW BAD IT REALLY WAS. ! total team loss !

That was a different Ole Miss team than we saw in Week 1 against Boise State.

If anything..we as Bama fans have learned this doesn't mean the end of a championship run.


Takes the pressure off and let's see what happens in the weeks to come. It may just be one of those years.

and Oklahoma is about to lose as well.

As usual, it takes a QB playing the game of his life to beat us. Although, we had a 2nd and 5 in the third, were gashing them, and our play calling morphed into some strange combination of Nuss/Shula.

Congrats to all the Mississippi folks. They don't often have a lot to cheer about.

Will be interesting to see how our guys bounce back from this loss. Just shows you that talent alone does not win ball games.

I suspect Ole Miss will lose next week. Not a sore loser, just what happens after the emotional high.

Hats off to Ole Miss! They did what they had to do to win.

I think "HOME" games play's allot of difference & there fans played allot of difference in this game...

Today is a prime example of why you have to put a team away when you have a chance. We are driving up 14-3 and we have 2 negative plays and takes us out of FG range. The game would have been over had we put them away.

My thoughts exactly. We never delivered the knock out punch and they got up off the ground
and knocked us out.

Yes, I was convinced that Sims was the answer, but not so sure now, a lot of pressure today, and it won't be the last time.

Overall Simms has been great. But both QB's have had plays this year when they should have thrown the ball away.

The difference was Cooper. Not sure if he was just covered or what. It may not have been his fault. But his reduced production was felt today.

Questionable play calling....I'll go to my grave wondering why you get away from what you are doing when you continue to pound the opponent...make them stop you. Pitiful...

This will make the rest of the season that much more interesting. We will probably see some more close finishes before it's over.

Too many injuries. Too many mental mistakes. Ole Miss didn't believe they could win until we let them hang around and didn't put them away. Long season, though. Lot of ball left to play. We still somewhat control our destiny as we can pretty much count on Ole Miss losing a couple and we just have to play better ball and start smashing people by 30 a game

If we play like that the rest of the year, we'll drop games to Miss St and Auburn.
