Nothing on these boards is required reading. You responded to my post with "That's fine - this thread is not required reading." That doesn't address anything in my post thus the nonsensical "do you walk to school or carry your lunch." If I didn't want to participate, I wouldn't post.

I came to this thread expecting to read about what Barry said, instead the place is littered with disdain towards one of our own members and a bunch of piling on. :conf2:

I don't personally have ties to rowing, but I'm glad our university supports other sports programs besides just football and basketball. I am shocked so many others feel differently.

Interesting note on this: Ohio State has a highly compensated football staff and supports a total of 35 programs; Penn State is highly compensated as well and supports 29. Both of those are higher than Barry's 25. His logic is flawed.
