BCS Standings are not current ...

Indeed Alabama is #1 in the AP Poll & Coaches Poll but Alabama is not #1 in the BCS Poll. WOW! http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/ncaa/polls/bcs/
So how does that work out? So LSU can claim half the title? Does LSU deserve half the title? Sounds like Les Miles has a say so...Granted LSU had a heck of a year they did beat us at home but LSU did not beat us to a zero that is a difference we beat LSU 21-0 how the BCS figure LSU #1 just baffles me...Alabama won the title outright as LSU won the SEC Championship outright...Hats off to LSU. ROLL TIDE!

The BCS poll is meaningless after the game.

And in any event, all the data isn't in--The Harris poll is showing the poll at the end of the season--LSU has all 115 1st place votes.

There is never a BCS poll following the BCSNCG. That is from December 4th.

We are #1.

The last BCS poll is released prior to bowls. It's point is to place #1 versus #2.

For whatever reason, someone unnecessarily updated that with the new coach's poll.. That is all that was done. It's definitely misleading, but totally irrelevant. No new Harris poll (I think) or computer rankings after bowls.
