The stadium expands for big games. They did it for the super bowl and for Cardinals playoff games.the open end that the field slides out of will have temp seating installed for the championship game.

A friend of mine went out there when Florida played. He couldn't get tickets, so he waited until halftime or so and found an unattended gate. Got in that way! He had planned to buy a ticket but couldn't find one.

You better bet if Alabama makes it there, and I can't find a ticket I'll be willing to give that a try. I can't remember if the Rose Bowl gates were attended up until the end. I know the gates in Tuscaloosa aren't.

Well, considering that tickets were going for under face value about 2 hours before the game, just getting tickets there will be the cheapest option.

Does anyone know if they're doing the ticket reservation thing for the nat. championship game this year like what they did at the Rose Bowl last year, where you could "reserve" tickets for your team in advance, and if your team ended up going to the game, you basically got the right to buy tickets at face value? Is that an every year BCS thing, or just a Rose Bowl thing, anyone know?
i checked and stubhub has terrace level for $505 i remember last year it was 125 non refundable reserve plus i think 250 face value or 375. i am thinking of buying a couple off stubhub now and if &^*(happens, then i might make money selling or at minimum get my money back.

I put my name on the list at the Fiesta bowl website a few weeks after getting back from Pasadena in January. I received my ticket request form two weeks ago and put in my order for two tickets. I received my confirmation today. I hope we make it to the championship game but if not then I will make a few bones in the aftermarket! It's a win-win situation.

My son and I got on the wait list. You have to buy Insight, Fiesta and BCS tickets as a package. We got the notification to order by October 26 and proceeded. Two tickets to each event for total of $1158. Don't expect to get anything from Insight tickets as they will likely be giving them away. Hope to get something form Fiesta tickets and if the stars align righ, be at the BCS Championship.

I just got an email about this minutes ago. I don't even remember putting my name on the list. Obviously I did though. Funny thing is 2 emails just came through. One with Oct. 27th order deadline and one with Nov. 5th order deadline. Can't decide whether to order or not.

I really wish the deadline was Monday the 8th. Then again we really won't know 100% sure Alabama will be going until about Dec. 5th (hopefully). It's actually a good deal @ $1158 for two tickets to BCS game, Fiesta Bowl and Insight Bowl. Just can't decide though and certainly don't want to jinx Alabama. :)
