Beau Hearod??

Where is Beau these days? I always check on the box scores of former Bama players in the minors and it has been at least a week since I saw Beau's name in one of the box scores for his NY-Penn League team. Is he with another team? Injured? Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

FWIW, I also noticed that after pitching well with low-A Lansing, Mark Carter has moved up to high-A Daytona Cubs. Congrats, Mark.

jtownbama would be the one to answer that question, but my best guess is that he is injured. Tri-City has resorted to starting Jax State's very own Kerri Fair, sporting a .140 average, and that indicates to me that Beau is likely hurt, but of course I don't know any details.

That's what I figured, too. I can see them sitting Beau down for a couple of games, but it has been over a week since he last played.

Beau sprung his ankle sliding into home a couple of weeks ago. He started back as DH on 7/21/03. He says he feeling fine and ready to get back into the game.
