I’ve been watching “Last Chance U” recently and want to know what you guys think of the chances of the best Junior College team playing their best game, vs the absolute worst Div 1 FBS Football team. Think UMass or Akron. Any chance? Or would it end up like the landslide consensus that the worst NFL team would blow out the best FBS team by 600-0?

It’s college players vs college players. Not like the NFL vs college. I think a juco team could compete against middling college teams, maybe not win because of depth issues, but they would compete.

There are some bad FBS teams every year. Teams with bad coaches and bad facilities. Teams with locker room issues. A well coached HS team could beat some of those teams, so a well coached JUCO team definitely could.

I think a bad organization is a bad organization, and a good JUCO team could definitely beat a bad organization if the level difference was as close as JUCO-FBS.

I have never watched a JUCO game, so I don't know. However, it makes sense that the top JUCO team could beat the worst FBS team. There are some really bad ones out there.

If you saw any of Jackie Sherrill's later MSU teams, you saw JUCO football. (g)

I think they signed like 14 of them one year. I think it was the only way they could be assured they were getting guys that would qualify for a while.
