Mike Davis to visit UA.........IMO this is big b/c this guy can play mark my words. I believe just to get him down for an official is a very important move. A great HC said if you can get an official visit it gives you a great edge in selling your program b/c each prospect is limited to only 5. I still believe it going to be hard to get this guy out of his home state,but it could happen!
Man M Davis,M Simpson,and R Upchurch behind our young talented OL in 2 years would be killer!

I'd take any 1 of those 3 and be satisfied. I haven't made it to the video on Davis yet, but after watching Simpson, I'm sold. As long as that knee is healthy, that is. I know why Coach Shula wants him to take the opening kickoff next year. He is very explosive. Left everyone in the dust on KOs and off tackle runs.

Upchurch is awesome as well. He runs similar to Darby IMO. They also run a lot of the same type runs that we have shown this season.

The opposing team watches one of the best rb's in the country come out for a breather, and yet, they have to moan, because his replacement not only is just as good, but brings a totally diffrent style for them to defend. Bama's at it again. I LOVE IT!!!! :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:

Mike Davis is the real deal

He is EXACTLY the type of RB that Alabama needs. He can run over or away from people and getting him to visit is HUGE. I'm not assuming that the Tide signs him but it would be maybe the biggest signing coup to land this guy. If I had to pick which one I'd most like to see sign with the Tide, this guy would be the one.

It seems Clemson and South Carolina are going to be hard to beat. However, both will be running spread offenses. Clemson always has under Bowden and Spurrier is bringing back the fun-n-gun. Neither program did much better than BAMA this year; both finished 6-5.

The key is getting these recruits on campus for official visits and he'll be taking one to Alabama. I wouldn't count Alabama out until signing day.

clemson is just not a winning program, and never will be competing for a title, usc, with spurrier will rely on the pass obviously, and a good rb would get few chances to excell in his system. we all know the tide is heading back to great things.

I agree, Mike Davis is going to realize that if he goes to Bama, he will have the opportunity to rush over a 1000 yards a season. If he goes to Clemson or South Carolina, he will have problems doing so.

M Davis holds offers from almost every major team in the SE,it's just that UA and 4 others are who he likes. The reason for Clem. and USC being hard to beat is that's his home state.
