Not at all. There is nothing to be gained by beating a whining underdog or losing to a cheater. I want them gone. It is like scraping the gum you chewed off your shoe. It was good when it was new but a relief to be rid of it.

We beat the crude out of them this year and send them packing. The rivalry has become unhealthy.

Not scared of them at all. Things have gone too far on both sides and something has to give.
I'll probably take this back after seeing the looks on the Barners faces when we beat them this year, but the prospect of beating Auburn has lost its pleasure from me. They're too immature. Beating Auburn is like swatting a fly. There is a momentary release between the fly was annoying the hell of you, but it goes away quickly. You move on to better things. Bigger fish to fry. Beating Auburn every year who not upset them nearly as bad as taking away their ability to play us. Then they couldn't beat. They'd have nothing to live for and probably cancel their football program, which would be fine with me.
Don't even need to go to 14 teams. Add A&M, subtract *U and stay with the current divisional rotation/format and be done with it. Don't even like a 14 team conference.
Agreed. I am tired on those moronic cretins and their idiotic ideals that they are pure as snow and Bama is the devil incarnate. I want them gone. Bama/*U used to be a fun rivalry until *U fans decided to take the rivalry into the gutters and made this personal. I don't want them simply moved to the East, I want them gone. I want to see their faces when they have to play TCU, UConn, etc, etc, instead of playing Bama/Ark/LSU/Florida. The contempt the *U fans would have when they have to root for their team playing in what they think is a conference that is below them would be hilarious to me and instant karma for them.
So yes, get *U not only out of the West division, but out of the SEC. This conference would be MUCH better without *U.

I don't even like Auburn University at all, but to suggest they're any worse than say, LSU or say, Florida or say, Georgia or say, Tennessee, or say Alabama, is foolish. The others just haven't been caught yet. And neither has Auburn, fully.
Fair enough. I used to love the Bama/*U rivalry growing up, but in the last 20 years *U fans (with the help of some Bama fans, I'm sure) have taken this rivalry to such a level that I actually dread the game every year because at some point they will take the trash talking to a personal level which is not healthy. I could live with *U being moved to the East division, I really could because then Bama wouldn't have to play them but every couple of years.

That's cool. I understand. On our side, we miss the rivalry with West Virginia University but not everything else that came with it.

I think that the reason the rivalry has become unhealthy is due to the internet. I mean, up until 15 years ago, we never had to hear about the frustration of Auburn fans (by coming on Alabama sites and trash talking). Only happened when the Aubies discovered computers...

Alabama fans have gotten just as bad as Auburn fans about accusing the other of wrong doing. Hell we now have a whole section of the forum dedicated to "Auburn Scams".

Sorry, but you don't walk into someone's house and accuse them of wrong-doing. It's just not good manners. Take UcheaT off that list and I believe they all run as clean a program as you can get at the present time. Hopefully, UcheaT is getting it's house in order. There will be minor violations here and there, but *U has taken cheating to a whole new level - not that this is the correct thread for this conversation. Take it to the right thread or to another site, but don't come in this house and insult your host.
