I am a little surprised that Xzavier Dickson is expected to be there. Maybe he wants to go for the cake walk, watermelon eating contest, slip and slide, and video games competition.

Auburn looking for big-time football recruits as Big Cat Weekend begins | al.com
Auburn is keeping this year's visitor list close to the vest, but quarterback Kiehl Frazier, a top target from Springdale, Ark., will be visiting, according to AuburnSports.com. A few other players expected to visit are defensive ends Ray Drew of Thomasville, Ga., Xzavier Dickson of Griffin, Ga., and Keymiya Harrell of Plantersville.

Last year's Big Cat would eventually produce 10 signees, including the nation's No. 1 running back in Michael Dyer, the top player in Louisiana in Trovon Reed, the top player in Mississippi in Shon Coleman, one of the top players in South Carolina in Eric Mack, and four linebackers who figure to vie for playing time this year.

I saw this list posted on a Barn board. So do not know how accurate it is:

Javorius Allen
Mike Blakely
Alex Chisum
Rodney Coe
Isaiah Crowell
Watts Dantzler
Xzavier Dickson
Reese Dismukes
Ray Drew
Bruce Dukes
Erique Florence
Kiehl Frazier
Kris Frost
Brandon Fulse
Demetrius Hart
Keymiya Harrell
Akeem Hunt
Ricky Hunter
Chris Jones
Chris Landrum
Izauea Lanier
Kadetrix Marcus
Quincy McKinney
Pat Milliner
Rakeem Nunez
Thomas O'Reilly
JaMichael Payne
Hakim Rahmaan
Gavin Rocker
Gregory Robinson
Jonathan Rose
Mitch Smothers
Anthony Swain
Xzavier Ward
Diaheem Watkins
Gabriel Wright

Another thread was reporting that LaMicheal Fanning and Jermaine Whitehead were there.

For the most part I am not that impressed with the list. I mean nothing there that really surprises me regarding who showed up. Pretty much from what I was hearing was to going to be there. I am curious because I haven't seen his name yet but did S Brown show up like some believed he might.

I am a little surprised that Spencer Region is not on that list. I mean after all he is still one of the Bash Brothers isn't he? Can you imagine the damage he could have done at the watermelon eating contest?

As long as none in bold commit or come away with Auburn as a huge leader, I like our chances. The rest I am not as familiar with.

And don't forget Javorius (Buck) Allen. I'm predicting him as a big time sleeper at RB this year. He's been out for a long time w/ an injury, but the guy CANNOT get tackled. I had forgotten about him until Rivals just did an update and he has Bama as his leader.

I am hearing that QB Kiehl Frazier has commited to the Barn. Was expecting this so no big surprise there.
Yeah it's on Rivals...

I'm sure this wasn't to create momentum for their Big Secondary Violation Weekend... Frazier to Auburn has probably been a done deal since Malzahn got there. He's from Springdale, Arkansas and it looks like he's got his own website through that recruiting "company" located there that BigEasy has talked about before. Kids got a ton of offers and looks like he's Jason Campbell's little brother.. lol

Would we take Crowell, Hart, and Allen? I'm just starting to wonder how the numbers are going to work out. It seems like there are a lot of offers out there, and a lot of players that are high on us. Good problem to have I guess.:)

BamaOnLine.com - Big Cat Quotes: Recruits talk weekend
Javorius Allen, RB, Lincoln (Tallahassee, Fla.)

"It was good. I enjoyed myself. I didn't think I would, but I really did. I saw a lot of stuff I really like. The coaching staff is real good. Auburn is a nice place. I could call it home. Family, that was the most important thing they talked about. That's what stood out to me. I think that's strong. A lot of people need family. I know I'll come back."

Demetrius Hart, RB, Dr. Phillips (Orlando, Fla.)

"I was supposed to go, but I couldn't make it. I'll definitely get back up there soon, at the least for an official visit. Auburn is still very high on my list. In no order, Auburn, Michigan and Alabama are my top three schools. I'm not going to rush a decision.

After reading a few articles it seems they had 3 big wins. It now seems that Jonathan Rose (very good CB or S) is all but a done deal... although we've kinda known that for awhile now. Of course, they got their QB of the future. Last, it's looking good for the kid out of Louisiana (sorry, forgetting the name off the top of my head). If they get those 3, then that's a pretty good weekend, but nothing like last yr.

I'm sure some more articles will come out, but if the kids dont commit right away then they'll have time to come off of their AU high and all will be well. We need to face the facts here... they're doing a good job recruiting and will have some talented teams in the future. My question is still about how those kids will be developed under the current coaching staff.

That's a good question. I think that if 2 commit then the 3rd wouldn't be interested... we're already deep at RB and that's just added depth. Saban has said that he wants 2 this yr. Personally, I think it will be someone like Crowell/Huggins/Brown for our top guys and then whoever commits after that, we'll call it a season at RB. Ha, but we've already taken more at WR than I thought we would and STILL are looking at a few others so nothing would surprise me.

Yeah they are and guess what so are we. So we beat them where it matters the most on the field. Florida recruits well and we beat them. Texas recruits well and we beat them. LSU recruits well and we beat them. So Auburn can recruit well and we will continue to beat them.

Until we get complacent we will continue to dominate.

DE Ray Drew likes Auburn's Big Cat, but his decision on where he'll play is on hold | al.com
Auburn landed a big recruit Saturday in quarterback Kiehl Frazier, the No. 2 QB in the nation by Sporting News and the No. 4 QB by Scout, but one of the top defensive players visiting for Big Cat Weekend says he'll take his time before revealing which college he'll attend.

Defensive end Ray Drew from Thomas County Central in Thomasville, Ga., said Sunday he'll announce his intentions around signing day in February...but said Auburn made a favorable impression this weekend.
