Dennis Green would be the only one that could come close to fitting the criteria Mal stated. While on the subject, if Miami doesn't hire Randy Shannon as their new head coach, I would love him to be our new DC. Heck, I wouldn't mind him being the head coach, but he is not experienced, and we have been down that road.

I read where Mal Moore was sent a list of candidates. They did this with Miami and North Carolina too.
I think this is entirely appropriate. I have no problem with the BCA making suggestions. I don't see too many on the horizon right now that fit Mal moore's criteria, but suggestions do no harm.

Would the BCA cry "foul" if UA hired a hispanic coach? Call up the Hispanic Coaches Association and see if they have a R. Rodriguez listed...

Dont send Dungy. the most over rated coach this side of Jeff Fisher. If anyone looks lost on the sideline it is him. Cant win a big game to save his life.

The University should hire the best candidate for the job, with no consideration as to race or anything else. I think the supporters of the University expect nothing less.
