I know they're projections by football writers, but I thought the MCB had a tie in with the Big 10????? If we were to play Miami/FSU wouldn't it be in the Peach???

The BIG 10 tie-in for the MCB went away and it's now the ACC.

I've been debating buying tickets early so I can get the seats I like......still might do it. Friday, December 29th is the date and that would make for a fun weekend for anyone travelling up.

All these bowl projections keep on putting us behind Georgia. I think that we will definitely be ahead of Georgia in the pecking order. Don't forget that Georgia lost to Vandy. If we lose to both LSU and Auburn, we will be in the Peach. If we beat either of them, we will be in the Outback.

For some reason, I believe the SEC East has a tie in to the Outback Bowl. So, it may very well be South Carolina or Georgia. I think we have a good shot at the Peach if we can snag a win over LSU and/or the Barn (and of course beat MSU). It also depends on what happens with the Barn, LSU, and Arkansas. Arkansas will more than likely end up in the Cotton (unless they pull a miracle and win the SEC). If LSU wins out, they are in the BCS and the same could be said for Auburn. There could very well be 2-3 SEC teams vying for BCS Bowl bids. If eight teams qualify for bowls (seems likely right now) one SEC team is going to be scrambling so as not to be left out. That just might be South Carolina sitting at 6-6 (still have Ark, FL, and Clemson).

You might be right about the tie-in. You could also say that Tennessee has a really good chance to make the BCS too. As much as I hate them, I think that they are playing well. They will knock off LSU this week, and then they have a tough one in Fayetteville.

If Florida makes the championship game, I think that the Sugar might try and get and SEC team to replace the Gators.

The teams that we really need to be rooting to lose are Notre Dame and Boise St. That would free up two spots in the BCS.

That's the great thing about being a bama fan. We get to go to all of the lower tier bowls. It is really good trips for the fans......:) . It is like a bowl tour, kind of like Johnny Cash. He used to play Memphis, Shreveport, and Nashville. I hear the tide a comin, it's rollin round the bend, and I ain't seen an undefeated season since I don't know when.....I'm stuck in Shula prison, and he keeps callin plays.....I wish he would let Dave Rader, coach my blues away...... When I was just a baby, my daddy told me, "son, always be a good boy, don't ever fire a coach, but I fired Coach Bill Curry, just to watch him leave. I wish we could just hire a coach, a lot like Steve(Spurrier). I bet theres rich teams winnin in those fancy ol big bowls. I bet their winnin big and smokin big cigars. I know I had it comin, with another coachin change. When I hear the season startin, I hang my head and cry. If they free me from this prison, if the offensive plays were mine, I know I'd move the ball past that ol' goal line, far from Shula prison, is where I want to be. But that Shula keeps on callin plays, and that's what tortures me. I will be in Nashville if we are there.....again.

Clearly, you haven't seen the memo about the new definitions written by a handful of TideFans members.

"worn out":
1) if non-conference opponent, to defeat by at least 1 touchdown.
2) if SEC opponent, to defeat by at least 1 point OR
3) if SEC opponent, to lead the game for one quarter or more.
