Question: Braxton Miller to UA?

Did you see the team from the BigTen+4 that ran for over over 200 yds, pass for that much or more, and outscore/beat us, Alabama, the SEC champ?

Maybe it is time to leave the "weak" comments about the Big10+ alone for a while.

That was with OSU's third string QB, too. Just imagine what the guy many thought would contend for the Heisman would have done.

They beat us, but from what I hear about half the team had the flu.

the OSU team that beat us this year looked like the bama teams that used to beat up on everybody else.

as for the flu excuse...as a famous old coach once said, the same things win that always won, and we just have a different bunch of excuses if we lose.

You forgot these old standbys:

1. The better team did not win.
2. The officiating was terrible.
3. We beat ourselves. My personal favorite

The big10 conference is weaker. Osu and msu are obviously their biggest strengths for the past 2 yrs; and then there is the field. So yes, I think it's safe to say the big 10 has a weaker field than the sec.
The Big 10 isnt as weak as you think. Its not as deep as the SEC but the top can compete with the SEC. MSU,Wisc, and tOSU (obviously) all had big wins. They went 2-2 against the SEC. Missouri and Tennessee got our two wins while Auburn and us lost to Whisky and tOSU. The Big 10 has made big strides over the past 3 to 4 years, and will probably continue if Harbaugh can turn around Michigan.

Michigan State probably had the best win of all the bowl teams. Considering everyone thought they would get blowed out.

Well the big 3 all had unique wins

tOSU- won on a balanced attack against the #1 team in the country
Wisc- beat Auburn with their AD coaching the game
MSU- beat a high octane offense

I actually find a lot of humor in fan excuses for why their teams lose.
Sometimes there are particular calls that truly determine the outcome of a game. For example, the Preston Gothard "No catch" in the end zone against Penn State in 1982 absolutely cost us the game.
But the one's that just tickle me to death is to hear someone say..
"If they hadn't called holding on that touchdown pass we'd have won", when the final score was 59-0, and it was 42-0 when the penalty was called..lol....:)
As far as Miller, if he indeed wants to enroll at UA, bring him on. The young man can absolutely play Quarterback.
Urban Meyer chose him to be his starter. That means he's darn good
I haven't been following this very closely at all. Is there any real substance that anyone knows of.
sip

In answer to your last question, CNS said he didn't know anything about it.

I swear CNS is so unreadable sometimes that I dont know if it should be reported like this:"CNS said he didn't know anything about it" or like "CNS said he didn't know anything about it"

In answer to your last question, CNS said he didn't know anything about it.

CNS may not know anything about but if he has talked to Braxton he can't talk about it publicly. So CNS saying he doesn't know anything about it doesn't really tell us much..

Braxton is enrolled at OSU for the Spring semester. Classes at OSU finish on 4/27. Final Exams run from 4/29-5/5.

What I've learned in this thread:

1. He's graduated from OSU, or maybe he hasn't.
2. He's visited T-town (football related), or maybe he just came to see a Dr. or Depreist.
3. He's better than any qb we've got right now, or maybe he isn't.
