This kid is an amazing athelete and to be honest im just being greedy when I say I want him to play CB.... This kid if he were to play Safety in my opinion could be every bit as good as Eric Berry.

Gonna be a stud...he knows how to lay the lumber!!

Not really a surprise...the mods/others close to the program have been expecting this move for a while..and I guess it's "official" now...

This move will give him an opportunity to shine and contribute in a big way to the team. This move's been talked about and mulled over for what seems like forever. I'm glad they finally made it official. Interested to see how it shakes out this season.

YEA, It's about time. True to his word, CNS let the young man give wideout a go. Didn't work out, but this move should. Hopefully this sort of makes up for not getting myles. I remember the videos of him playing corner at bama's camp. Very impressive. Good corners are hard to find and man do you ever get paid by the NFL if your good. Good move, now it's up to BJ to make the most of it, and I think he will. RTR

I think most of the other moves will wait for spring training. And most of them will involve the LOS. With BJ, my info last year was that the move would be to safety instead of corner...

That’s kinda what the Vigor coach hinted as well Earle…I think he’d make an awfully good SS or CB…maybe even sneak in there in some Nickel and Dime situations to cover the slot. I’m excited about his tackling ability the most…his videos from HS show him really coming up and poppin’ some folks in the noggin:)

How does BJ stack up in terms of height/weight with our other DB's? I always thought he looked like a smaller framed guy on the field. With guys like Barron and Woodall on the roster, I figured Rashaad would be one of the last "small" safeties we'd ever see under Saban.

BJ and Rashad are pretty similar in size, I think. BJ has a more athletic build, though. He may be an inch shorter, though.
Man, our secondary has the potential to be outstanding.

Oh... and he's definitely taller than Ali.

i remember seeing a recruiting picture of him. let's just say i've never seen a cornerback with an upperbody ripped like that. maybe i'm getting him mixed up with someone else, but he was huge.

This will be a great move. This will counteract not signing another safety in this class. A lot of knowledgeable observers say that BJ has world beater potential as a safety, so that's where my money is.
