Can we poach players from the programs changing coaches

He's one of those guys who would feast in CKD's system because we are transitioning to bigger/taller receivers than we had under CNS. BTW, I saw Ty console him and whisper something in his ear after the game too. He'd be expensive but he'd be worth it.

But I'd also argue that getting Offensive Linemen should be a top priority because, until we have better protection, it won't matter who's running passing routes.

If he's willing to walk, I'm sure we'd give him a lift to T-town. It's ironic, however, that last year we felt like defense would be a liability but now I feel very good about it. Having said that, I don't know who is leaving to graduation or the draft and who we have committed on the defensive side.

But, as I said above, IMO, the biggest holes to plug are on offense.

I agree the OL is priority #1

For me priority #2 is a new WR Coach who can instill strong fundamentals with our WRs so they run clean routes and can get through/off of physical DB’s.

#3 is maybe trying to bring in a RB who is no worse than a 1A/1B SEC level starter.

I can't argue against that brother, we need some big nasties on the OLINE, that has an attitude of nastiness when playing..

Follow the money. Always. Follow the money. Everything else is noise.

The kids got their education first hand. And they learned the #1 lesson from their job hopping coaches.

All that is left is to the scoreboard to $$$ instead of points. From betting lines, to 2.5 hours of commercials per game, to job hopping coaches, to buyouts, to NIL, to corporate box seats, to corporate sponsored/owned bowl games, to backroom handshakes, it's just all about money now with the thinnest veneer of football stretched nearly to the breaking point over the entire mess.
Gee, I can't imagine why I watch from zero to 1 game a week these days as opposed to the 3 to 6 games I used to watch. I also never watch any of the talk shows about college football. I can't stand to hear any more news about it. I do appreciate Tidefans for a little old school football talk from time to time. Roll Tide!

Totally agree!

I used to listen to wjox for my CFB fix, but its become pretty much stupid programming (some of the shows go way off of sports) coupled with way too many ads...

yep DT types and ILBs need to be high on the list. We do have a few DTs who got game reps this year, so it's not a bare cupboard, but we don't have any ILBs coming back with any experience unless one of our top three can somehow create more eligibility.
All they have to do is call 1-800-PAVIA for some tips, and voila, eligibility for life!
