I'm hoping he can increase the allure of the University among the Swedish female population. A large influx of them pursuing an overseas education would definitely not be a bad thing
I've been following Bama b'ball since about the same period, and I can't remember us ever having a player listed at 7'0 or higher. Will he be the tallest player ever at UA? I remember Jeremy Hays and MC Mazique listed at 6'11 and maybe one or two more.Would this guy be the first European player that has played basketball at The Capstone? I can't remember anyone from Europe since I've been following Bama b'ball beginning in '87. Thanks.

Shoot, for now at least, those were the glory years of Bama BB! Under Wimp we not only beat UCLA but Georgetown and North Carolina as well! We practically owned the SEC tournament and were in the mix for the SEC crown most every year.Thank Ennis Whatley for that win. That was an emotional time for the Alabama family.
I remember now, you are right..........a very heavy hearted win......Thank Ennis Whatley for that win. That was an emotional time for the Alabama family.
