I like the underdog label, seems like we bring our best effort when the world isn’t singing our praises. We’ve benefited for a long time from being the juggernaut, so if we enter an era where the narrative is flipped then so be it. Bama fatigue will never go away, even if we had 3+ seasons of 7-5, 6-6 teams.

Every time we’ve been called out we’ve answered. I honestly believe we can beat Indy but in all our wins we need mistake free football, WR’s catching balls, TO on defense/ST, and you can win the game.

I took a look at our Rose Bowl history and it’s funny how we’re entering this game with the media sentiment still being the same as it was in 1925: We don’t belong here. It took us beating everyone we matched up with for the B10 and Pac12 to step in and say, enough of these southern teams beating us. Even while enjoying years of success, that Bama fatigue will always scream we don’t belong.

Who or whatever we are and will be as a program going forward in this new era will be addressed on the 1st. I expect a victory.

I've only watched IU once this season, the B1G Championship game. My observation is that they are physical and hardnosed. Saw no quit and no cowardice on either side of the ball. Coaching was excellent with players being where they needed to be, especially on defense. That said, I also didn't see speed across the board and while we may not have the world class speed this year we've had in days gone by, I think we are superior in this category. Speed kills. If we can get out of the phone booth and stretch them out sideline to sideline we can win this game.

IF Bama shows up and plays anywhere near their capability, I don't think IU can win. They just don't have the horses to compete with the team talent.

We've seen this before and we've seen when teams like Bama show up and lay an egg, but the reality is Indiana hasn't faced a team with the overall talent level that Bama has this year. OSU is close, but only UGA has a higher team composite ranking.

If DeBoer has the team ready, the Tide will Roll.
