CFN Bama rating

Of course, the more wins the better but what I want from this season is a strong indication of improvement from last year which was not unexpected given the schedule and the situation.

Sports journalist's predictions are as common as anal sphincters -- they all have one but some function better than others!!

This statement is right on the money. To finish with 5 loses means we have to lose some very winnable games.

Not necessarily. Here's the way I have broken down our schedule:

Games we definitely should win: West Carolina, Utah State, Miss State
Games we should win: Ole Miss, Arkansas, Kentucky, S Carolina, So Miss
Toss-up Games: Tennessee, Auburn
Game we should lose: LSU

So, if we win all three of the games that we definitely should win and go 3-2 in the games we should win, that would equal 6-5. I hope that we are able to at least go 4-1 in the games we should win. But, let's face it: Most of the time, you always lose one game that you are suppose to win. And, with the lack of depth that we're facing this year, we could easily lose two that we're suppose to win. Anything less than 6-5 would be a major disapointment.

I also think 7-4 because of the games we have at home. 2-2 in home games against Ole Miss, SC, So. Miss, & Auburn should lead to 7-4.
