Game was over after that 98 yard run. my only wish was Notre Dame would have scored 50 to show strength of schedule matters.
They played the game safe like Alabama did Cincy in 2020. Just run the ball, avoid turnovers and move on. The early int by the ND QB enforced this for Freeman and Denbrock. After that, they just dominated the LOS and played keep away.

Also, not sure whose Idea it was to let TNT have two CFP games. I'm predicting a 3.7 on a 10pt scale on the competence (and "listenability") of the TNT broadcast teams...

Update... just looked it up...

11 Southern Methodist @ 6 Penn State
TNT @ 11:00a CT
Mark Jones, Roddy Jones

12 Clemson @ 5 Texas
TNT @ 3:00p CT
Dave Pasch, Dusty Dvoracek

9 Tennessee @ 8 Ohio State
ABC @ 7:00p CT
Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit

So, yeah. Pretty ridiculous that all CFP games are not on over-the-air networks, but they got to pay for this monstrosity somehow, I guess.
They got their pregame crew from Walmart apparently.

Penn State copying Alabama with numerals on the side of their helmets. SMU with an idiotic 4 and 1 play; QB had the 1st on a run but decided to lob it to an open receiver who dropped the pass. I'm sure State Penn will blow them out from here.

I didn't watch the game last night; Youtube did a good job knocking down illegal streams of it. I won't say that was evidence Indiana didn't belong; a team could well deserve a playoff berth and still lose. But something is quite clearly broken with all of this process. Indiana lost, by an obvious talent disparity, each game it played against good competition. We'll see what SMU and Clemson do today. But the college football model is currently completely unbalanced and as it stands today, the SEC was out flanked by a huge margin in this process (conference realignment and playoff expansion).

Watching the Dakotas play because we don't have TNT, but here's another reason that CFP stinks.

This kind of stuff is what we're talking about when we talk about the fools being in charge.

This should be unacceptable and the schools and conferences need to say no mas to the idiots who make these decisions.

We also have a couple of D1-AA semifinal games today:

So Dakota St @ No Dakota St. I think SDSU has won last 3 championships
So. Dakota @ Montana St.

Something is in the water in the upper midwest.

Could be fun games to watch and of course scenery at NDSU and MO St should be pretty to look at :D
At least those ND State folks were smart enough to build a domed stadium. They probably didn't like playing outside either when it's 15 degrees and the wind chill's around 5 degrees.

I have no confidence in Sark winning a big game. He didn’t do it last year, he didn’t do it this year in his 2 biggest games. Dabo knows how to coach in big games. Could be interesting, but Texas is expected to be business like in their approach and just dominate and control the game.

I have no confidence in Tennessee this year, they really are not that good. Day is coaching for his football life. I expect Ohio St to win big.

I don’t know what to expect in the SMU/Penn State game. Maybe the SMU billionaires paid the Penn St players to lose?
