Love him or hate him Dabo is doing something right up there. His players absolutely love him. You could even see in the Draft how his guys were talking about him. He is doing it differently than Coach Saban but you can't deny the results on the recruiting trail and on the field. But the game is in New Orleans, so maybe it helps.

Well, that was the worst prediction of the night. I watched Nolan grow up and I really appreciate the young man. I thought he was overmatched in man coverage, but the play went his way. Tough ending for the Buckeyes.

One thing this game seemed to confirm for me, especially when you consider last year, is that you don’t have to play stiff competition in the regular season to be successful in the playoff. This is the second year Clemson has waltzed through a terrible power 5 schedule and has played well in the post season. I don’t think they will beat LSU, and that’s not just my bias speaking.

It seems like the targeting call was the turning point and Clemson just woke up and finally started playing.
