Im a big Charlie Peprah fan and was wondering, "IF" Chris Keys committ to the Tide, I believe he has all the talent in the world to start next year, but does that mean Charlie moves back to corner. We have a good situation turning out at the Defensive backfield with all these atheletes. Id like to see Charlie go back to corner, but whatever happens happens.

Just my opinion, but I don't expect too many kids...especially

DB's and SS's to be as good as Simeon was this year. Also, since Simeon will now take Anthony Madison's slot as starting left corner and Charlie will stay at SS, I don't think you'll see Charlie move at all! Key's may end up being Charlie's back up if Marcus Carter can't perform up to snuff, but now I'd look for more redshirts than we saw this past year! I truly expect most of this years class to redshirt with maybe 2 or 3 exceptions.

I think Madison can come back next year if he graduates on time with him being a prop 48. I did read on here that he was going to be a graduate asst. coach next year. Anyone know what his plans are?

Madison status for 2005?

That's news. Just curious. Did you read this in an article or on a message board?

I don't know anything for sure. I'm assuming he is coming back to play CB until I hear otherwise.

Madison, a partial qualifier out of Thomasville after signing in 2001, can regain a final year of eligibility by graduating before the end of the summer. He says he's on target to do so.

down the page a bit

That info is included in a news article that is posted on Today's Bama Team News Board.

Madison will play next year.

The 4 staters in the secondary next year will be. Anthony Madisn, Charlie Peprah, Roman Harper, and Ramzee Robison. Alot of people would like to see castille start next year. Well here is what i say, we had the #1 Pass D in the country this year. All 4 starters are back, so if it aint broke, dont fix it.

Great defense wins championships. this year, we had a great defense. One of the best. I expect next year to be no different. Now, if we only have that offensive component.

Madison coming back is a big plus.

He has experience and his presence gives us more and more depth. Our nickel and dime packages become that much stronger with him back. We would be ok without him but we will be so much better with him. I can see us having a cb rotation even to keep those guys fresh deep into the game. With Madison, R. Robinson, Castille, T Robinson and now Mitchell that gives us 5 quality corners. You can't ask for much more than that.
